The Yamaha MONTAGE M8x is the flagship 88-key synthesizer in the MONTAGE M series, released in late 2023. It is designed as a professional workstation that combines advanced digital synthesis with high-end piano-like tactile control, specifically tailored for both studio production and live performance

- Keyboard Action: Features the exclusive GEX weighted action with polyphonic aftertouch. This allows you to modulate individual notes independently after they are struck, a feature historically associated with rare synths like the CS-80.

- AN-X: A new virtual analog engine with 16-note polyphony.
- AWM2: Improved sample-based engine (256-note polyphony) for realistic acoustic instruments.
