The MODX M7 combines AWM2 sample-based synthesis, FM-X frequency modulation, and the new AN-X virtual analogue engine. Together they provide up to 268 notes of polyphony for complex, layered performances. AWM2 offers realism for pianos and strings, FM-X adds bright digital tones, and AN-X brings warm analogue-style character. With advanced layering, filters, and modulation, you can shape sounds for any musical style quickly and intuitively.
Intuitive real-time performance control
Thanks to Motion Control, you can blend and morph sounds on the fly using the Super Knob or automate movements with Motion Sequences. Dedicated Part and Scene buttons let you switch sounds and setups instantly during live performance. Every controller from the knobs to the pitch and mod wheels uses high-resolution response for smoother, more expressive operation, giving you total confidence on stage.
Streamlined workflow and DAW integration
The MODX M7’s colour touchscreen, upgraded interface, and six display knobs make navigation effortless. Built-in USB MIDI 2.0 and a 10-out/4-in audio interface simplify studio connections, allowing multitrack recording over a single cable. You can also use the keyboard as a DAW controller, managing transport and software synths directly.
