Designed to be compact, lightweight, and portable, the nanoPAD2 fits easily alongside any laptop or desktop computer while still offering 16 great-feeling, velocity-sensitive pads and an integrated XY touchpad. It features four pad banks (scenes), allowing up to 64 pad assignments, and its dynamic trigger pads accurately capture performance nuances, delivering realistic response when used with sequencers or DAW software. The XY touchpad provides expressive control over multiple parameters and includes the Touch Scale function, enabling intuitive phrase playing similar to the KAOSSILATOR, with 16 selectable scales and adjustable root and range to keep performances in tune. Combined with Touch Scale and Gate Arp functions, users can create tempo-synchronized phrases and rhythms, while the free Korg software, available from the Korg website, allows detailed customization with a choice of four speed settings.
