The Yamaha Attitude Limited 3 Billy Sheehan Bass Guitar is a 4-string bass guitar featuring a Hipshot ‘D’ tuner, custom designed DiMarizo pickups, a fast action Maple neck and a spline jointed Alder body. Designed in collaboration with legendary bassists Billy Sheehan, the Attitude Limited 3 delivers a powerful and dominant low-end whilst remaining tight and controlled. The Hipshot ‘D’ tuner drops the E string down a whole step to D via an integrated lever, providing added versatility and precision tuning. The spline jointed body is processed using the exclusive ARE and IRA wood treatment for maximum resonance and performance.

Spline Joint Alder Body
The Attitude Limited 3 features a 3-piece body structure comprised of Alder for maximum resonance and performance from your bass guitar. The ‘Spline Joint’ design works by incorporating a Maple plate on its joint sections to achieve the same vibration you’d expect from a 1-piece body over this 3-piece structure. The body is also processed using Yamaha’s exclusive A.R.E. and IRA wood treatments to achieve the exceptional tonality the Attitude Limited 3 produces.
Custom Woofer Pickup Tone
The front and rear pickups on the Attitude Limited 3 are custom designed by DiMarzio and Yamaha to deliver dominant bass tones while remaining stable and controlled. The custom woofer pickup was developed by Yamaha to fuel Billy’s signature sound and tone. Combined with the DiMarzio bridge pickup, the woofer pickups delivers exceptional tonal range for maximum versatility and a sound that will stand out. Additionally, the Will Power middle pickup features a wider magnetic field than traditional pickups, resulting in added punch and harmonic overtones.
